Annual Munyama Basketball Tournament
For the past 19 years, the Munyama Basketball Foundation has been sponsoring high school and club annual basketball tournaments both in the United States and Kenya. These tournaments allow for youth participants from various backgrounds to interact, while being introduced to other cultures, through the game of basketball.
Munyama Overseas
Munyama Basketball Foundation is committed to improving the quality of basketball in Kenya (and hopefully the entire continent of Africa) by hosting basketball camps and tournaments overseas. Our goal is to give the youth abroad an opportunity to better themselves through the game of basketball. In addition to this, the foundation is committed to maintaining outreach to various schools, basketball clubs, and teams by donating basketball gear, equipment, and other resources that could greatly benefit many young athletes.
Youth Basketball Clinics
Munyama Basketball has recently implemented youth basketball clinics for young people looking to improve their basketball skills. These youth clinics will take place during the annual Munyama Basketball Tournament and we hope to expand the initiative to a program which will take place on a monthly basis.
